The Premier’s Reading Challenge and partners are teaming up again to challenge students to read about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in the lead up to National Science Week. The reading and design competition started in 2016 and last year 3,300 entries were received!
Eli P and Lilly G (now in Year 3) were 2023 state winners and featured in the book ‘A Celebration of Science and Nature’, as well as receiving a prize.
This year’s R-12 competition is now open and entries close on Friday 21 June.
To enter, students need to read a STEM, nature, space or sustainable energy themed book, preferably from the Premier’s Reading Challenge booklist and then use their imagination for their entry.
