Primary students watched as a new artwork came to life on the side of the Glencoe building under the COLA.
Scott Rathman from Rusted Tin – Contemporary Aboriginal Arts created the bright piece in around 7 hours. Here’s what he had to say about the mural theme:
“When we show respect to others, we help build strong, caring relationships. These connections make us feel safe allowing us to be ourselves. In a place where everyone is respectful, we feel like we belong, whether we are with friends, teachers, or our community. This sense of belonging helps us grow, learn and become the best version of ourselves. By nurturing these relationships, we create a supportive environment where everyone can feel at home. Together we can build a space where respect is the foundation for everyone’s success”.
