The REC Arts Academy offers specialist Arts learning for students with a strong interest in the Arts from Year 7 onwards. Students learn in a supportive, inclusive environment with high expectations that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confident risk-taking. Learning is centred on authentic Arts experiences, with students participating in performances, exhibitions, and events for live audiences. High achievement, participation, engagement, and personal growth are prioritised, empowering students to contribute meaningfully to the cultural life of the school and wider community.

Arts Academy specialist classes in years 7 and 8 are available for Dance, Music and Visual Arts. We are a Music Focus School with instrumental music teachers based on site.
