This year we had 4 Year 12 students participating in the DfE Transition Program, which is a targeted career/employment development program delivered at an off-site venue, 1 day a week, with teachers Sam & Oonagh.
REC students Chloe, Nex, Ryan and Zane attended the Noarlunga program, which involved visiting a diverse range of worksites to learn about the range of jobs in various industries; creating their own resume and learning about employability skills and their own strengths and career pathway interests. Students were also supported to seek and complete work experience.
Recently students had their Transition Program graduation and celebration event and Zane attended on behalf of our students. Nex had an exam on the day, and both Ryan and Chloe were at work as they have secured jobs since finishing the Transition Program, which is a great credit to them!
